Vikram Sarkar

Singer-songwriter Vikram Sarkar is among a crop of Haryanvi music stars (along with vocalist Masoom Sharma and rapper Dhanda Nyoliwala) that burst onto India’s charts in the mid-2020s with their distinct mix of earthy vocals and globally informed production. The car-loving Sarkar, who made his debut with the playful “Fortuner” in 2022, released over a dozen singles—including “Beamer” and “Gaadi Top Gear” in 2023 and “G Wagon” the following year—before scoring a series of viral hits in 2025. These included the hip-hop-flavoured “Gaadi 150” and the swag-filled “Naam Chale”, which reached the top 10 on Apple Music’s all-genre chart for India.
