G Jones

One of the most popular figures of the North American bass music scene, G Jones is sought after for his intensely experimental productions. He began releasing glitch-hop and dubstep during the early 2010s, and has continually levelled up his production skills, incorporating trap, acid, and jungle elements into his complex hybrid style. A major draw at EDM festivals, he has extensively collaborated with artists like Bassnectar and Eprom, and formed Nite School Klik with ardent supporter DJ Shadow. Jones' ambitious debut album, The Ineffable Truth, arrived on his own Illusory Records in 2018, and he's taken his sound in a more rave-influenced direction with EPs like 2022's Acid Disk 2 (with Eprom) and Illusory Tracks. 2023's Paths, his second full-length, balances bangers with more reflective ambient and IDM pieces.
