Summer Jike

Singer, songwriter, and actress Jike Junyi incorporates global pop influences and various genres into her adventurous music. Born into a Chinese ethnic minority (Liangshan Yi), she was a finalist on the first season of TV's The Voice of China in 2012, then officially arrived with her 2014 debut single, "彩色的黑" ("The Color of Black"), a gold-certified Mandarin-language hit that celebrated individuality. Its unapologetic nature and sleek, assertive sound set the tone for subsequent material, including her 2014 self-titled debut album (featuring Snoop Dogg on "Summer Time"), 2016's 大無畏 (Intrepid), and the Global Citizen (世界公民) series of albums. She focused on singles and EPs to start the 2020s, including 2023's 哈尔费蒂 (HALFETI) and 2025's "Glow Up," a duet with (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, before offering up the full-length Soar Up to 9000 Li, a mix of studio and live tracks that spanned pop and club fare.
