About Jermaine Dolly

The ebullient Jermaine Dolly is a contemporary gospel/CCM singer, songwriter, and comedian who expresses his faith with gritty grooves and shining anthems alike. Formerly of the group Prayz1, Dolly gained additional notice as a background vocalist for Tye Tribbett before he established himself in 2015 with "You," his first entry in an impressive run of Billboard Gospel Airplay hits. The Dolly Express (2017), his chart-topping first album, yielded the hits "Come and Knock on Our Door," "Serve," and "I'll Go," and the last of those had yet to peak when he and Maranda Curtis teamed for "Pull Us Through," another smash. Dolly's hot streak also included an appearance on a remix of Titus Showers' "It's Gonna Be Alright." Following an extended break from music, Dolly delivered "Never Shall Forget" as the first preview of his second album, The Assignment (2026).
