HIVI!

Since bursting onto the scene in 2012, Jakarta pop band HIVI! have exuded a positive bubbliness that maintains its shine even when they venture into melancholic territory, such as on 2015’s yearning ballad “Siapkah Kau ‘Tuk Jatuh Cinta Lagi”. The band is no longer served by original vocalist Dea Dalila’s endearing treble after her exit in 2016, but Neida Aleida has taken over the role with her jazzy warbles syncing alongside co-vocalist Ilham Aditama’s robust, clean-cut pipes on top of the quartet’s perky rhythms and cheerful melodies.
