Dj Mutha

DJ Mutha is a DJ and producer from Uruguay. While he started out making reggaeton tracks, in the early 2020s his musical curiosity was aroused by Argentinian turreo, a subgenre that mixed electronica, reggaeton, trap, and Afrobeat, and sped up the cocktail - in fact, all of DJ Mutha's releases share an iconography unabashedly inspired by the videogame Grand Theft Auto and the Fast & The Furious franchise. Mutha established himself as a local reference in the genre with almost 100 singles released between 2021 and 2025, among these “Pégate,” “Skyline,” “Si Te Dejas Llevar," “Extasy,” and “Amigos Con Derechos.”
