Buoyant and joyful, the music that Garrett Murphy releases as it's murph are bursts of sunshine rendered in irresistibly rhythmic forms. Raised in a musical household in Nashville, Murphy was inspired to begin his own activities as a DJ and producer after discovering artists like Porter Robinson, Fred again.. and Flume. After moving to study the music industry at the University of Southern California, Murphy released a dreamy yet propulsive collaboration with Twin Diplomacy and RSCL in 2022 before attracting wider attention for 2023's "Food for the Soul", his first solo single as it's murph. Combining the power and immediacy of EDM with the breezy, summery feel of Balearic beat, successive singles like "Youthful Kids" and "High and I Like it" extend the blissed-out vibe while expanding the scope of Murphy's euphoric brand of dance music.
