DJ Polo

Associated with the U.K. funky scene, Bristol's DJ Polo produces tightly syncopated, bass-heavy club tracks influenced by gqom, Brazilian funk, garage, and other genres. The founder of label and party Club Djembe, he began releasing music in 2017, and soon collaborated with artists like Scratcha DVA and Tribal Brothers. He's continued building up a catalog of hard-edged, polyrhythmic dance tracks, with the EP If the Glove Fits and "Dance Hall Again" (a collaboration with Breaka and Swordman Kitala) both appearing in 2024.
