The Bros. Landreth

The Bros. Landreth are a Canadian roots rock quintet whose sound combines harmony-rich Americana, bluesy R&B, U.S singer/songwriter traditions, and the folk heritage of the northern prairies. Dave and Joey Landreth grew up in a musical household. Their father Wally is a renowned Winnipeg musician and songwriter often in demand for backing a variety of touring artists. The band recorded its debut album, Let It Lie, with producer Murray Pulver. Featuring "I Am a Fool," written by their dad, it was released in Canada in late 2013. They made a splash at 2014's South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Shortly afterward, Let It Lie was picked up by the U.S-based label Slate Creek Records and re-released in early 2015. ~ Thom Jurek
