Tunico

Tunico is the nom de musique of Brazilian saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger Antonio Secchin. His music draws deeply on core Afro-Brazilian roots rhythms, from maracatu and forro to samba and afoxe, all woven through a complex but accessible harmonic approach to contemporary jazz with warm textures and celebratory melodies. His debut single and video for "Galope" appeared in late 2022. Tunico, his debut long-player, arrived in March 2023.
