Under the name MPH, Myles Fairbairn is known for U.K. garage and bassline house tracks that appeal to dancefloors, festivals, and home listening alike. Fairbairn issued his first productions in the late 2010s, and after releases on labels like Low End, Highly Swung, and Crucast, the Canterbury native landed on Night Bass, home to 132.00FM (2023) and Refraction (2024), albums respectively led by the vigorous "Rush" and "Lights On." By the time he self-released Substance (2025), Fairbairn was a major festival draw, having performed at Parklife and Coachella, and he had also toured extensively abroad.
