In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. That feeling of being alone with sound, in the backseat, looking at the cities skyline stuck with me. It was the first time music felt less like background noise and more like a place you could disappear into, I wanted to become that place. Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) Juice WRLD, Fighting Demons (Complete Edition) Three 6 Mafia, When the Smoke Clears Take care for its late night introspection, Fighting Demons for its emotinal honesty, and When the smoke clears for its dark, atmospheric roots. Tell us why you chose this song. “DON'T DO FRIENDS” I chosethis ongoing because it feels like the pivot point for my sound. It captures the direction im moving towards and sets the tone for whats coming next. Everything after this builds from the feeling and atmosphere of this record. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments so far was realizing my soubd was finally starting to feel like me. Reaching listners in diffrent cities showed me that the late night introspective direction im taking connects beyond my own space. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to build a body of work that feels timeless and personal, not rushed or forced. More than anything i want to keep evolving the sound a let it grow naturally. I want to see how far this sound can really go.
