About Eprom
An influential figure of the American bass music scene, Eprom makes inventive, expertly engineered tracks that can be maximalist and aggressive, yet spacious and hypnotic. Always difficult to classify, his earliest releases were most adjacent to glitch-hop and dubstep, incorporating sub-bass frequencies and silence for emphasis. His style evolved with the 2012 full-length Metahuman, which featured aquatic textures, 8-bit synths, and trap-influenced beat programming. He followed it up with 2013's Halflife. Eprom formed the duo SHADES with experimental drum'n'bass producer Alix Perez, and explored acid breaks with another frequent collaborator, G Jones. His dystopian-themed third full-length, Syntheism, appeared in 2023, and he unveiled previously unreleased material with 2025's Tracks from the Vault EP.
