In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories come from singing in choirs and playing drums as a child. Being surrounded by voices and rhythm taught me to listen deeply to texture, space and feeling — an approach that still shapes my meditative sound work today. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kebnekaise” Kebnekaise was recorded on the mountain it’s named after, blending field recordings of rain and water with airy vocals and gentle synths. It reflects the idea that mountains are indifferent to us, inviting quiet clarity, presence, and deep listening. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating Mountains as part of my ongoing Elemental Odyssey project stands out. Recording across different mountain landscapes and transforming those environments into sound affirmed my path of using music to bridge nature and humanity.
