In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest and most memorable music memory is hearing Prince and The Time for the 1st time when I was in sixth grade. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Harlot (acid mix)” I'm always experimenting with different types of music. This was my first attempt at making a trap-style beat and I feel it was pretty successful. What do you think? What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing in front of the Tarrant County Convention Center for Juneteenth 1991 with my band which at that time was Cherry Black. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I put music on hold because, well, life. I got serious again at 50. An actual music career is my bucket list.
