About The Gems
The Swedish trio the Gems make muscular, guitar hero riff-and-solo using a formula that recalls the melodic highs of KISS, Scorpions, AC/DC and a host of the album-oriented rock era's top draws. The trio signed to Napalm Records and released their debut Phoenix in 2024, featuring hard-charging tunes "Like a Phoenix" (a rock radio hit in Germany), "P.S.Y.C.H.O.," and "Send Me to the Wolves." Sophomore album Year of the Snake followed in 2026; it featured standouts including "Live and Let Go" and "Gravity," the latter featuring guest guitar from Tommy Johannsen of power metal group Majestica.
