About Thomas Wywrot

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my favorite musical memories was seeing The Lonesome River Band at a festival in Minnesota in 1999, with Sammy Shelor, Kenny Smith, Don Rigsby, and Ronnie Bowman, with Ron Stewart sitting in on fiddle. One of the best shows still to this day. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “This Is My Father's World” This was a special track to record because it's one of my wife's favorite hymns, and I had her sing the lead on it. You could almost consider it a prelude to my current musical project. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing on the Grand Ole Opry with The Isaacs, Alecia Nugent, Bradley Walker, and Mountain Heart, both at the Opry House, and the Ryman Auditorium. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I plan to bring the rich history of Psalm singing to the bluegrass world for a unique take on bluegrass gospel music.
