About Ole 60
Kentucky-based Ole 60, who describe themselves as "Not your father's country band," play a hard-edged, emotionally powerful blend of classic country, Southern rock, contemporary folk, and grunge-era rock. The group jumped from obscurity to success when their debut release, 2023's four-song Three Twenty Four EP, suddenly topped the charts of several music streaming services, outstripping the plays of many major acts on the strength of their single "Smoke and a Light." They capitalized on their increased profile with the EPs Three Twenty Four and 2024's Songs About You, which yielded another hit in "Thoughts of You." Ole 60 finally made their full-length debut with 2025's gritty Smokestack Town.
