About Jonah Kagen
Georgia-born singer/songwriter Jonah Kagen writes yearning, heartfelt songs rooted in acoustic folk but with a strong pop aesthetic. His self-released song "Broken" became a viral social media success and earned him a major-label deal with Arista, which released it as a single in 2021. After that, Kagen continued to bolster his presence with a string of popular folk-pop singles and EPs like 2022's Georgia Got Colder and 2024's Black Dress. The latter featured another breakout song in the Alternative Airplay chart-topper "God Needs a Devil." Working in D.I.Y. fashion out of an old Airstream trailer, Kagen recorded his 2025 full-length debut, Sunflowers and Leather, entirely on the road.
