About Interplanetary Criminal
Manchester's Interplanetary Criminal produces tracks reflecting the influence of a wide range of U.K. dance styles, from dark-hued breakbeats to bouncy garage. First appearing with lo-fi house EPs such as 2017's Intergalactic Jack, he soon released jungle-influenced records like 2019's Sleepwalker, while paying tribute to speed garage with 2022's Coming on Strong and other releases. Interplanetary Criminal received unexpected mainstream exposure when he produced Eliza Rose's 2022 track "B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)," which topped the charts in the U.K. and Ireland. He won a Juno Award for "No Time," his 2024 collaboration with SadBoi, and subsequently released tracks with artists such as Riko Dan, KETTAMA, Koffee, and Travy (2025's "Fón Póca").
