In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being in church as a kid, feeling the music before I understood it. Outside wasn’t easy, so I held a lot in. Music became where everything made sense, what I was feeling, what I was learning, all in one place. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lil Baby, My Turn (Deluxe) Rio Da Yung OG, 2 Faced Rod Wave, SoulFly (Deluxe Version) My Turn by Lil Baby showed me you can be real and still win. SoulFly by Rod Wave felt like my life. Rio Da Yung OG made me stop overthinking. And Drake showed me how melody and honesty go together. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “LIL ANGEL "SHE HER"” “Lil Angel (She Her)” is special to me because it’s real. It’s about showing women they don’t have to be anything extra to be valued. Seeing people actually connect to that and use it in their life means everything to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably when I went viral while DoorDashing. I had just walked away from the streets and was trying to figure life out. That moment felt like God showing me I didn’t have to go back and that this was really what I’m supposed to do. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Just taking this as far as God will let me. I want to reach people for real, not just have songs out. Bigger stages, bigger impact, and making sure my story helps somebody get through what they’re going through.
