The debut album from Dutch DJ/producer and label founder Chris Stussy charts the evolution of his signature sound across three distinct chapters, crystallised in the title, Lost, Found & Forgotten.... Previously unfinished ideas are refined and polished in the “Lost” chapter, including blissfully chilled album opener “Moonlight” and the elastic groove of “Darkness”. “Found” material celebrates creative collaboration: KUČKA’s dreamy vocal turn on “Fantasy”, or “Wide Awake”, which features melodic rap verses from Tom Did It. With “Forgotten”, Stussy caters to the fans, collating B-sides and rarities played out during live sets and endlessly requested thereafter; see the twinkling club anthem “If you doubt me”, for example.
