Amy Harman

Among Britain's leading young wind players, bassoonist Amy Harman is in demand as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. She is also a prominent educator. Harman has a strong commitment to contemporary music, performing, among other works, in the world premiere of Karlheinz Stockhausen's Mittwoch aus Licht as a "flying soloist" from a trapeze. She has made several recordings, appearing on the 2025 release Madeleine Dring: Complete Works for Oboe.
