NLE The Great

NLE The Great is a Memphis rapper known for his animated vocals and wild, rambunctious style. He started out using the name NLE Choppa and rose to fame almost overnight on the back of a viral hit (2019's "Shotta Flow") and a charismatic social media presence. At just 16, he was fielding record deal offers from major labels, sometimes with advances in the millions. He eventually cut a deal with Warner Records for his 2020 debut studio album, Top Shotta. His first major mixtape, From Dark to Light, arrived the same year, and the 2022 mixtape Me vs. Me bridged the gap between his debut and the 2023 follow-up studio LP Cottonwood 2. In 2024, the compilation release Certified collected all of NLE Choppa's certified hits. In 2025, Choppa changed his name to NLE The Great and issued a series of brutal diss tracks such as "KO."
