Knocked Loose

With their fierce live shows—and even fiercer mosh pits—Kentucky metalcore band Knocked Loose crashed onto the Billboard charts with their debut LP, 2016’s Laugh Tracks. ∙ Keith Buckley, frontman of former Knocked Loose tourmates Every Time I Die, guested on “Forget Your Name,” a hard-charging track off the A Different Shade of Blue LP. ∙ A Different Shade of Blue debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200 and landed the group at the top of the magazine’s Emerging Artists chart. ∙ Alternative Press and Revolver included A Different Shade of Blue on their Best of 2019 lists, and Loudwire named it one of the 66 Best Metal Albums of the Decade. ∙ Veteran producer/engineer Will Putney—who’s also a guitarist in the deathcore outfit Fit for An Autopsy—was at the helm of both Knocked Loose albums. ∙ In 2019, Kerrang! gave Knocked Loose the top spot on its list of the 50 Best American Hardcore Bands Right Now.
