Hope Darst is a Christian singer-songwriter who hit the charts more than a decade after she thought she’d left music behind for good. ∙ As a child, Darst wanted to pursue music, but she set that aside at age 25 to focus on raising a family and her life in the church. ∙ After joining Nashville church The Belonging Co, she contributed to the organization’s first two albums, All the Earth (Live) (2017) and Awe + Wonder (Live) (2019). ∙ Her 2020 debut single, “Peace Be Still,” was a Christian radio hit and was followed by an album of the same name, which quickly rose to No. 1 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel albums chart.
