DEADLETTER

This south London group with Yorkshire roots, purveys a similar brand of sardonic, moody post-punk to that favored by many U.K. guitar acts who sprang forth in the late 2010s and early 2020s. Following Deadletter's 2020 formation, a trio of their spiky, sarcastic, self-released singles received U.K.-wide radio airplay. 2022's Heat! EP added a danceable strain to their political schtick, a trend that continued on 2024's More Heat! Their debut album, the stubbornly focused Hysterical Strength, appeared later that year.
