In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Practicing piano at the Slovenian Institute, I dreamed of more than recitals. Trading concert halls for DJ booths in Koper, I found my voice by blending classical skill with new beats What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Discovery Glenn Gould, Bach: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 (The 1955 & 1981 Recordings) Jon Hopkins, Immunity ‘Discovery’ by Daft Punk—electronic inspiration. ‘Goldberg Variations’ by Bach—pure genius. ‘Immunity’ by Jon Hopkins—where classical meets modern. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cloud Racer” I only gave myself two singing parts thus far, neither are my favorite. For out on the town vibes, I prefer 'Dinner and Dancing' but my all-time fave is 'Cloud Racer'. It relaxes me every time. Though I'm really in love with the new album. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far has been finding a sound that feels personal without losing its sense of scale. Being part of Fire Arrow Records gave me room to make music that feels close-up and expansive at the same time. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to make the kind of song people keep returning to when they need to feel understood. I'd also love to play a festival set at night where everything feels suspended for a few minutes.
