In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started out as a drummer, and discovered punk rock at a very young age. The first time I heard The Ventures, I knew I wanted to pick up a guitar and start playing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Harry Belafonte, Calypso The Cult, Sonic Temple (Remastered) The Ventures, Hawaii Five-O Harry Belafonte recorded some of my favorite songs. The ventures made me fall in love with instrumental music. Billy Duffy is one of my absolute favorite guitar players, and Sonic Temple is a cornerstone of my formative years. Tell us why you chose this song. “Our Busy La Salette” This song embodies the haunting comfort of the winter months. The longest nights of the year give time for reflection, refinement, and reconnection. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I am so fortunate to know so many excellent musicians, and to be able to collaborate with them so frequently. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to collaborate with artists working in other mediums. I would like to pair my songs with projects in film, television, visual arts, etc.
