John Osborn

Tenor John Osborn specializes in Italian bel canto repertory, in both Italian and French, as well as many of the most difficult tenor roles in French grand opera. He has won several awards in Europe for his performances of works by specific composers and of specific works. Osborn has appeared in many major European opera houses and at top European summer festivals. In 2024, he performed the lead role of Jean de Leyde, which he had sung in several productions, on a recording of Meyerbeer's Le Prophète with the London Symphony Orchestra under conductor Mark Elder.
