On screen Joystick controls. Low performance mode. Various improvements. Additions Implemented a system to facilitate On-Screen controls of the game via a joystick and buttons. (You can find this in game in the Pause Menu or Main Menu Options ). Implemented a low performance mode to reduce the CPU impact of devices which are less performant (You can find this in game in the Pause Menu or Main Menu Options ). All story mode levels now have a drop table system implemented, instead of every crate being exactly the same every time you play a level. Skateboard Bombers have been added to Boss Rush. Added up to 2 additional bullets per gun picked up in boss rush ( BFG and Grenades do not have additional ammo added ) Boss Rush has had the scoreboard modified to be carried in by vehicles. Tokyo Girl has been added to Boss Rush, with new dialogue and SFX to support the character. Tutorial has been updated to include teaching controls for on screen joystick. Help menu has been updated to include teaching controls for on screen joystick. Slightly adjusted the boundaries of the Joystick controls combat buttons. Added visual feedback to a user pressing a combat button from joystick controls. Art Changes Improved Visibility of projectiles throughout the game. New Music Trippin ( White John x Rucci ) Slugs ( White John x Chike x Swaye x Kilo ) Major Changes Boss Rush Mode - A new challenging mode has been added for players wanting the most intense of gameplay. You must face every boss in the game in only one level and with limited resources. Select Boss Rush from the Play menu to begin. You may practice with all character as much as you want, But you may only make 1 attempt at your high score each day. You may only make High Score attempts with players you have beaten the Main Game (Not Easy Mode) with. Don’t forget to press the Share button to show off your High Scores with your friends on Social Media! (You must purchase the game to play this mode) Easy Mode - a new mode has been added for players just starting to learn the game. Select the easy mode toggle at the beginning of a new game to try Easy Mode. (Note: that you do not unlock any additional content by playing on this mode, To unlock content you must have the Easy Mode toggle OFF) (Content being Wallpapers, and Boss Rush Unlocks on a per character basis) Extra Lives Coin - In all game modes you may now gain an Extra Live Coin for every 75,000 points (Cash) total earned per play-thru. You will receive the free life coin automatically, by filling the heart that appears on your lives counter. You may receive up to 4 Extra Live Tokens in one play-thru or mode of the game. Adjusted, Removed, or Added Art and/or Particle Effects on all levels to improve Performance and add level depth and memorability. This also serves to reduce art fatigue. (Snow, Sun-shower, Fog) Ipad is now fully supported with updates to make many of the games screens and systems better suite the larger screen. Game Loading, Performance, Memory Usage, and Application Install Size have all been Improved Greatly. The Bosses: John Paul, Sinjin, Gworm, Hamstring, and Sheesho have all been updated with new Fight mechanics. Additionally some animations were added or improved. Big Changes Camera zooming and panning system has been improved. Added additional particle systems for picking up Weapons, Power-ups, and Health items to help the player differentiate which type of item they have recently picked up. Added a progress fill on the Player's Fire Meter so that player can better understand what adds to fire and how much it adds. Added bonus points to scores for players which complete the game with additional lives or mini-game resources remaining. (All Modes) Small changes Many bosses have had their mechanics difficulty adjusted. Updated background vehicles in several levels. Added additional particle systems to the Main Menu. Updated High Scores system to show Easy, Story (Normal play), and Boss Rush. Several other characters received animation updates, or updated art. Bug Fixes: Players could sometimes have unintentionally lost progress on their continue file by interacting in abnormal ways with the Main Menu. Sometimes Planet Sake Levels could be unbeatable due to un-hittable enemies. Some Bosses were set to be invincible when not intended. DSavage could become un-selectable in the character select screen. The players health bar would not update sometimes when you revive. Player could be knocked down while under the effects of the White John Power. Fancy thug was behaving oddly (1A). Some crates would spawn after waves were completed. The Mini-Bats attack no longer repeats its audio excessively. The balloons mini-game was appearing incorrectly on some devices. In rare cases the player could become stuck in either of the Dr Sake or Zokka fights unable to progress. Players thrown grenades were missing some audio. Extremely rarely the player could use power-ups when in a "dead" state. Chief Keef's Lord of Buds attack could block the player from tapping for a short unintended duration.
