I am probable in the minority here, but I don’t do this game to compete with others. The tournaments have caused me to delete the app on several occasions. I would very much like to have a option in the settings that would make it possible for me to choose not to take part in them. Another suggestion I would like to make is that you don’t use plural words, words that end in an “s”.Otherwise love the game and thank you very much for it.
Greed hindering Gameplay seems Desperate

The games themselves are fun and entertaining, I especially love Word Fever and Secret Word additions to normal Wordl, but the amount of adds is astounding, it really paints the developer as greedy and desperate. There are: 1. Permanent ad banners at the bottom of the screen 2. Ads to “earn” more points to use the power-ups 3. Long, un-skippable, full-screen ads between almost every game 4. Long, un-skippable, full-screen ads EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF GAME 5. Sometimes I’ve even had ads when I just had the dashboard open, as if the developers have a hard-coded period to show adds. Really?? Such unprecedented greed, it seems like the developers are desperate for some cash? Their company probably doesn’t pay well or are struggling to keep the lights on. A combination of 1. and 2. should suffice? Anything else kills the gameplay and comes across as greedy and desperate.
Lost benefits for ad free app users

The regular version of Wordle allows users who fail a round to have another go if they watch a 30 second ad. It’s tedious but the outcome is worth it, especially when you’re playing in a live tournament. I bought the ad free version thinking it would save me time between rounds but unfortunately the benefit of getting a 2nd chance from watching an ad is now GONE!Please give ad-free app users the option to view an ad in order to continue, or use their coins if they have them. Seems so short sighted to remove the option especially when your advertiser also wins.

Seriously? You don’t even let a round finish before the 1 hour long ad plays. It’s an insulting coercion into paying a subscription. Have you no shame?Use your AI to track and at least allow a player to get hooked instead of repelling the player before they even got to enjoy it 🤷♀️Think!!!!
