Even after a number of years, I am still amazed at the wonder of being able to manage iTunes on my mac from my iPad. Instead of looking at how it functions with the new apps on Catalina, I just want to appreciate the bright minds that came up with this concept.* User tip on rating songs via the remote appIt is not immediately obvious how to rate songs using this remote app. Just tap the album art, and the song name will make way for the dots that you tap to give your own rating to the song that is playing at the moment.

This app completes your whole Apple Music/iTunes experience. My setup is a Mac mini in my upstairs office with my sound system in my downstairs lounge. With Remote I can listen to my music library and control Apple Music while sitting in my lounge and experiencing my music on my high quality sound system. Great app.
Great software but missing features

This is a great app, I love the ability to control what’s playing on my pc with iTunes and the ease of use is unmatched from 3rd party applications but that’s as far as the praise goes the software style looks like it just walked out of iOS 10 with no optimization for dark mode and no iTunes control from the control center that along with the inability to sort by recently added in the library and the inability to add the songs to the library from the app makes it much harder to recommend. I’d love to see this software used to the full extent of the concept but otherwise, depending on your use case, the cons may outweigh the pros.

Very useful and user friendly app. One feature I greatly miss though is to be able to manage playlists (add/remove songs from playlists). I is this especially when I listen to weekly suggestions of new music from Apple. Having to get up to add a new song to my fav playlist voids the convenience of a remote. Please consider this request for a truly 5 star app!
