In Glass 5.3 we’ve retired legacy API endpoints so the app now runs entirely on our latest, most reliable infrastructure. This update also resolves UI issues introduced with Apple’s iOS 26.4 release, and corrects widget links so that corresponding images now open within the app.

In Glass 5.2.1 issues with tab bar reactivity, as well as backend stressors with series uploads, are now resolved. A new installment of custom icons from designer Tim Van Damme, alongside attribution to designer Jasper Hauser, have been added to appearance options.

Glass 5.2 introduces our refreshed brand icon, including multiple geographic variations for Patrons to choose from. Plus, comment editing is now available.

In 5.1 we introduced a much asked customization to toggle the Series Preview on the main feed, but there was a problem. A phantom view existed which still navigated to the Series detail page. A proper easter egg if you will. This time around, we’ve removed it for good. No more phantom view.

More Liquid Glass for a smoother, native iOS feel. Hide Series Previews for simplified home feeds, and upload photos directly from files in addition to the photos app. Polished for a cleaner experience.

We’ve fixed an issue where the New Photos pill sometimes vanished in light mode and made a few improvements to how toasts appear and behave. A few subtle tweaks to keep Glass feeling smooth.

Glass 5.0 A fresh coat of clarity. Glass has always focused on showcasing photography, not distracting from it. With 5.0, we’ve refined the design to be lighter, cleaner, and more transparent, so your photos stay front and center. Same app, same community. Just a little more polished.

We’ve fixed an issue that stopped Glass links inside photo comments from taking you to the right place. Now tap away and you’ll land exactly where you expect. We also squashed a rotation bug that crept in from last version, keeping photos from going full screen in landscape mode.

This one’s a bit more under the hood, but an important update. We’ve fixed a long-standing tab bar layout bug that occasionally appeared on cold starts. If you’ve ever seen the app load with a bit of a visual hiccup, that should be gone now. Finally. We also improved support for multiple windows on iPad and gave our internal release process a fresh coat of paint. Oh yes… we’re also getting things ready for the liquid summer ahead.

Just a small update this week. We’ve tidied up a few bugs behind the scenes and fixed an issue with our App Store review prompt.

We’ve updated our notifications framework to support a new notification type and added logging to help track down a persistent bug. Just a bit of under-the-hood maintenance this time.

Fixed an issue where portrait-oriented images appeared squished in Highlights, both in the main listing and on the detail page. Resolved a bug where appreciating a comment didn’t persist visually. The icon would turn yellow, but revert when scrolled out of the viewport.

This update adds a new email notifications section in settings, giving you more control over what emails you receive from us. We’ve also updated our onboarding and purchase flows to use the latest SDK, which should make everything feel a bit smoother.

We fixed a few small onboarding issues, so things should feel a bit smoother when signing up.

This update fixes a bug where some new members were seeing the wrong account state after signing up. Things should now look as they’re supposed to once you’re in. If anything still feels off, don’t hesitate to reach out.

This update improves how external links are handled across the app. Now, when you tap a Glass link and have the app installed, you’ll be taken directly to the right place — whether it’s a photo, Series, member profile, or even a camera or lens page. We’ve made sure links to comments, highlights, explore content, and more all behave as expected. A smoother, more seamless experience all around. This update brings a couple of important fixes to keep things running smoothly. The share sheet is back in action. You can once again share photos directly to Glass from other apps without issues. We also fixed a bug with photo search, so finding the images you’re looking for should now work as expected.

We’ve fine-tuned the full-screen experience in landscape mode on iPhone. The notch and Dynamic Island no longer obscure your images, providing a clearer view. The dismissal “X” is now smaller, reducing visual clutter while keeping it easy to use. Just a quick small member requested refinement this week.

A few small updates to keep things running smooth. The iPad layout bug that forced a single column when it really shouldn’t? Fixed. If you use Stage Manager on your iPad, Glass should be way smoother. Also, comment cells in the photo detail view now adjust when resizing the app window. That’s it. That’s the update

Smoother, better, and a little more polished. No more snapping. We’ve fixed transition issues, so images now glide smoothly into place. Buttery smooth. We’ve improved the publish button to clearly indicate when it’s ready, and added a helpful toast warning if the Series form needs to be completed before uploading.
