Built for visionOS 26, Spatial Rifts is the first mixed reality shooter with support for PlayStation VR2 Sense controller and Nearby sharing on Apple Vision Pro.
Spatial Rifts invites players to team up in the same physical space, fight waves of monsters emerging from portals, and find a way to close the rifts before it’s too late.
The game is an Apple Vision Pro exclusive, built from the ground up for visionOS 26’s new features, including PS VR2 controller support for precise and immersive aiming, and local SharePlay so friends in the same physical space can fight side by side.
Features
- Spatial game controller support for precise aiming, shooting, and reloading.
- Battle side-by-side in the same space with up to five players, for a unique, location-based experience.
- Full use of the physical space for immersion, with portals on your walls and monsters in your room. Bats fly around you, spiders crawl across your floor and walls, and bullet impacts appear where you shoot.
- Immersive in-game HUD with health and magazine count displayed on your hand when you look at it.
- Use weapons or melee combat (punch monsters with your gun or hand).
- Play with a single controller: share your second controller with a friend.
Gameplay
- Survive the waves of monsters emerging from portals.
- Close portals by collecting puzzle pieces dropped by specific enemies and placing them into the portal’s glyph frame.
- Level up by closing portals to unlock up to three bonus weapons that will spawn in future matches.
- Gather ammo, medkits, and bonus weapons during waves.
- Choose the number of active portals at the start for adjustable difficulty and rewards.
- Track best stats and progression between matches to improve performance.
The game can be played in solo or coop modes.
You can play with your hands if you don’t have controllers. But we recommend using a controller for a better experience.
Reload using the controller grip, or choose realistic reload in settings for an immersive experience.
Butterfly bonus mode
- Step into a calm, relaxing mode where butterflies, dragonflies, and other beautiful insects fly around your space. Catch them with your net, listen to birds singing, and take a moment to unwind.

Almost Good

Good to see games like this finally appearing in Vision Pro. The reloading mechanic isn't particularly intuitive. Clips are dropped in front of me, but I have no idea how to pick them up and reload. Also, the laser pointer would be more useful if it appeared when pointing the gun at the menu as well. I'd also recommend using a voice other than the built-in Apple voices for the tutorial. They make it sound cheap.
Developer Response
Thank you for your feedback. To grab clips and other consumables, look at them and press the controller trigger (or pinch with your index finger and thumb) — this adds them to your inventory. To reload, simply press the grip button on the controller (as long as you still have clips available). We appreciate your suggestions and will take them into account. Thank you for playing!
A Good Start

This game is really well done. I wish the creatures would react better to the area that they are being shot. Head shots don’t feel like the do any more damage than just shooting anywhere else. Hitting them seems like half the time they don’t respond at all. I am using hands and no spatial controllers. Hits may work better with controllers
Developer Response
Thank you very much for your review! We're glad you're enjoying Spatial Rifts. Headshots actually deal double damage to the enemies. When you hit an enemy with your hand or weapon, you should get audio feedback. If you hit them in the head, they also react visibly. We recommend using controllers if you can for the best experience. We appreciate your suggestions and will take them into account. Thank you for playing!
