I’m not going to lie, I didn’t have much in the way of expectations when I downloaded this game, thinking it was going to be a run of the mill mobile game. How wrong I was. Overall, the game is incredibly good, and not just by mobile standards. The missions truly make the player feel like a sniper, with realistic hit man-type situations involving waiting from a vantage point until the target appears and taking action. It’s a refreshing break from all the fast paced action shooters where sniper rifles are just another weapon, instead embracing how snipers operate in real life. The missions have a good overall variety, with map and objective combinations being similar but never identical. Another great thing about this game is how the difficult progresses. For example, in the beginning, you simply aim and shoot. However, later on, bullet drop over distance and wind resistance all have to be factored in to take a good shot. The only issues I have with the game are the soundtrack which, while being a decent one and fitting the game well, is repetitive, and the fact that most weapons are either locked behind paywalls or insane amounts of hard to earn currencies. Other than these things, the Sniper 3D remains a fun experience and is an overall great game, balancing gameplay and plot in a way I’ve never before found on mobile.

I love this game, but I deleted it because of these problems. I’m going to talk about the positives first. I like how realistic the game is, it makes you look like a real sniper. I also like how you can get a lot of coins for beating levels. Now I will talk about the negatives. I don’t like how you use energy to play levels, it’s just stupid to be honest. If you are on a tricky level, you could end up using all of you energy on one level and not pass it. At least the time to get energy isn’t that long. The next thing is that getting diamonds isn’t that easy, the only ways you can get them for free is playing the shooting mini game or watching an ad. The problem with this is that you have to fork over a lot of diamonds just to play the shooting game, and you can only get like 20 diamonds for watching an ad. I think the first 2 reasons prove that this is like your typical cash grab game. This last reason ruined the game for me, and that is the ads. When you start getting further into the game, you will have watch a lot of ads. What’s worse is that there is no 4.99 payment option for no ads, so that means you can only play this game if you watch ads. I would love to rate this game without the ads but the developers made the decision to make them as part of the game. So they make it part of the overall experience and affect the score. And man, they really bring it down a lot. This game has a lot of problems but it’s not terrible. So in the end, this game gets 3 stars.

This game is fun and kinda addicting however, I’ve only been playing for a couple weeks at max and have had technical problems as well as problems with purchases and deals. I contacted Tech support/Help a couple days ago and unfortunately it’s like fort knox for them to at least get a message and then if the “find something” then they will email you back so essentially you are stuck with a problem never to be fixed. In the “packages” area you can get deals on guns which are a lot lower than the deals if you go to the arsenal. However, I tried to purchase a gun and it continued to tell me that I was not connected to the server even though I was so I missed out on the deal. Tonight I had an offer and purchased the Battle Scar Assault for 450 diamonds at 80% off. It said “success”but I still do not have the gun in my possession and now the deal went up too over 2,000 diamonds to purchase it😡 I have lost point that i have worked for in sections such as the PVP arena. I had around 200 and then it went down magically to 12 when I logged in later and the guns that randomly come up for you to purchase at a great deal always are a little higher in diamonds that you have and the only way you can purchase them is if you pay money for more diamonds. I had one earlier that I was just 10 diamonds too short, instead of it offering you to watch a video right then to get more diamonds, you have to exit out to the main screen to watch a video for 10 more diamonds and in the meantime you lose the deal on the gun. I would love to give this game 5 stars but I can’t yet until some of these problems are fixed.

The gameplay is good, but the in app purchases are outrageous! Every time a gun goes on sale, it is always just a little bit more expensive than your balance of gems or coins so that you have to buy more to purchase the weapon. If you have enough coins to buy a gun that is 50% off, then they don’t put that gun on sale for you. I play the game often, and have built up a good amount of the in game currency (I have not purchased anything), and instead of giving me sales on items around my tier, they put items several tiers higher than mine on sale to get me to buy their products. Not once have I seen a fair sale on a low to mid tier item. Sales are also personalized based on how many gems or coins you have, so no one item goes on sale for everyone, except for the high tier items. Essentially, the sales are nonexistent, and are simply a ploy to get players to spend money. The progression also has some flaws, the primary section of each city is too short, and the same type of missions are repeated several times throughout the game. I also have some issues with the energy system, there are far too few energy segments for a game of this nature, especially since each mission is quite lacking in length, unlike most other shooter games. Overall, unless you are willing to pour absurd amounts of money into the progression of this game, I recommend finding another game of this nature. I will continue to play this game and if anything changes, I will update my review.
