This game is fantastic in many ways. The graphics are superb. However, once you begin to play there are necessary resources that you must have, to advance. You can purchase them, just attach a credit card. Then, it takes thousands to play. In two years I have racked up over four thousand dollars (USD)! It becomes a freakish desire to better your castle. Then, it was suggested to have a farm castle you can harvest for more resources. Then it requires dollars to advance to have sufficient resources to harvest. More castles, more money! Then, you are a level 13 castle and somebody comes along with a level 29 castle, obviously no contest, and they burn you down when you are not online to defend yourself. Start rebuilding and do you have more money on that credit card? Again, great graphics, the heroes you recruit are phenomenal, the dragon incorporates some great graphics. Overall I like it but have decided no more purchases, and the game now has slowed to a crawl, and when your castle is destroyed while you are not online, well, struggle as best you can and soldier on. If it weren’t for the low life’s burning down all your stuff while you are not online, I would give this game 5 stars.

So the game is amazing it’s fun and keeps you busy. Socially interactive. But how come everything in English gets censored for words that may be deemed inappropriate but in chinese it does not get censored? I have screenshots of a player saying beating me is like killing a dog and he openly admits that Chinese states have access to map hacks and other cheats to see what we are doing where we are going and everything. I have reported the player and he doesn’t get banned. And they get packs in game at a much cheaper rate then everyone else so how come they can crossplay with us when they always have the advantage. If I spend the same ammount of money in game as they do they get more packs and rewards I do but yet they say it’s even battlefield? It seems rather unlogical to allow them to crossplay if the developers won’t even the gameplay and battle in game because I have to spend $2000 to match the $1000 they spend. It’s designed to always let them be on top in a game like this where paying to win is a method. Please reach out and address these topics as the state we face right now has openly admit to using cheats and map hacks to follow us instantly everywhere we go. They have tiling bot scripts for roc. None of this makes sense to me how this goes so unnoticed when it’s happening in state 3058 openly and they bring real life political events into the game and racial terms but no bans when reported? Seems very sad to see the favoritism in the game

You do not want to download this game. Sure it’s a lot like the old 90’s computer game which is the reason I got it. But it’s nothing but a money pit. At first I made the mistake of paying for things and I regret it now. Unless you have $100’s and I mean $100’s you will be nothing but a castle that gets destroyed by players that have the money to invest. Which that’s all this game is about fighting castles. I’m not joking unless you have the money to invest you can’t make your castle powerful enough to compete with the ones that do. Don’t listen to the developers they say you have chances at no cost. Yes you have a .01% chance of obtaining heroes that will make you more powerful. Lol. Listen I don’t usually bash games I fall victim to playing phone games like everyone else and will spend some money too. But this is ridiculous. $100’s I mean it too $100’s if you don’t have the cash flow I would stop now. Or you will just be castle bait for the castles that do spend the money and that’s what the developers want. They update things In the game all the time that make you want ti spend money so you can be the most powerful castle. You could download this game drop a $1,000 and be more powerful than castles that have been playing it for years. Well that’s my spill I’ve invested enough that I can’t walk away just yet but regret it every second. Good luck ha now it won’t let me post this review of course

I’ve been playing this game for about a month, and there is a lot it that is really fun. There are a huge amount of cool options for how to improve your kingdom, but it takes awhile to learn how to do so effectively. Building up the kingdom is fun, and exploring the layers of complexity in the game is exciting. The problem is with the experienced players. I’ve only played one map, but I have been told numerous times that it is standard in the game for the top 15 alliances to start the game with a non-aggression pact with each other. This means that only new players are attacked. It’s not very realistic to expect to survive without spending a fairly significant amount of money on a game you might not know if you’re going to enjoy, long term. There are lots of games like this, and the other ones I’ve played don’t have this issue. Basically, it’s wealthy people agreeing to leave each other alone and attack only poor people. I could actually invest and join the winning side, but that doesn’t seem like fun. Like I said, lots of games in this genre. I would pick another one, the model for this feels like it’s going to collapse from starving itself of new players. Update: Received a canned response from the developers, that honestly was pretty condescending. Lowering my rating as a result. I’ve played many of these games with great success, but the developers of this game seem to think the balance issues of their game are a result of my inexperience or stupidity. I’ll give my money to someone else.
