Amazing game. Saw an ad on instagram for it and was kind of sketched out about how it only had one review but I was so bored i downloaded it and this game impresses me for having little to no one actively playing. There’s a developed story with different chapters, characters, dialogue, etc. Many mechanics and items to collect. Things to upgrade that change style as you do so. Even extra side chapters for more gameplay. I love the art style of the game because it mimics traditional medieval art and the absurd and somewhat goofy nature of it. They really capture the weird feeling of medieval art in this game. My only complaint is some of the spelling/grammar mistakes in the game (there’s quite a few) but they don’t effect gameplay at all, just something that should maybe be fixed because there’s some (not many just like one or two) permanent upgrades in the scroll shop that I cant tell what they do because the grammar is so out of order and whacky that the description of the upgrade makes no sense. Other than the grammar mistakes this game is incredibly well made, developed, and styled. Definitely get it.

i love this app so much. fun game. awesome art style. easy. no ads. what’s notto love??? HOWEVER- if there’s one thing that i don’t enjoy about this app, it’s the way it sometimes paints women. maybe i’m perhaps being a bit too sensitive, a “bleeding heart feminist” if you will, but the joke comparing a nagging wife to infamous dictators feels a bit… cheap. maybe it would’ve been funny in 2008. furthermore, while giovanni’s attitude towards women felt a bit odd to me, i was initially very willing to forgive it because his character is questionable overall (oh god i sound so annoying). but after the various jokes at the expense of women for their “womanly behaviors” throughout the game even beyond the main story, i can’t help but feel a little… odd. mildly offensive humor can be funny… if it’s actually original and we feel like we’re still in on the joke. i guess what i’m saying is. i can tell that a man wrote these jokes. and at times it’s charming. but when female characters comes into play, it gives me the ick.anyways, thanks for reading.

I never really write reviews but man this game was entertaining, easy to get by without spending any money, I watched a few ads got some extra prayer and was able to work my self almost all the way to the end, I did end up purchasing the no ads pack for $20 but it was worth it. It’s a beautiful game and very fun and stimulating I personally love upgrade and idle games and this definitely did the job wasn’t to confusing and nice and simple. I would recommend a tutorial on boosters and what they do and how they they work, I got all the way to the 2nd to last level before I found out I could use them lol and then just time warped my way all the way to the end. Some more cutscenes would be cool not a necessity but it would spice up the game I think. Also would be nice if the extra episodes were a little longer or there was more story, I kind of felt myself wanting a bit more after beating them. The last God one kind of felt like “okay here’s the last one beat it and let me know what you think of the game” I mean I loved this game just would’ve been cool to have a bit more. The whole beggar to heaven mechanic thing was awesome as well this was a pretty cool game guys, well done. I hope you don’t take my feedback as criticism or complaints they’re simply suggestions, OH I’d love a version of probably asian culture, maybe Japan would be a cool concept to explore and I think you’d guys do the visuals justice. The ads got me hooked from the start. No long winded preaching about ‘zero ads’ or ‘no wi-fi’ like other game ads do, just pure gameplay with the charm of the gags an jokes you see in-game, the same mechanics and the same ease.The aesthetics of this game is unmatched, the jokes and cutscenes are hysterical, and the episodes provide a lot of historical insight (despite the situations and dialogue being less than that, but it just adds to the charm.) The game isn’t ad-free, but the use of ads is simply just to progress in some aspects of the game, but it is still fully playable even without watching ads. It’s addictive and fun.The only problem I have with this game is that there are too little episodes! I really hope the devs make more, and I hope the devs make more games with this concept with the same charm that Medieval has.
