To be completely honest this game is not that good for everyday play, you just log in, do some endgame; collect 60 he,s from dailies and log out. But at same time when a new patch comes out it becomes incomparable with any other game, the level of story, characters, location is just on another level. I would definitely recommend playing this, ATLEAST for the sake of story, this is like watching a movie every time a new patch comes out.

I decided to try this game out of curiosity. I was curious why I had heard almost nothing about it, since it was made by the creators of Genshin Impact, which is loved by so many people. It would seem that this game should also be popular, but it isn't.And after trying it, I understood why. 😅First, the combat mechanics are completely incomprehensible. It's impossible not to compare it to Genshin, because the audience largely came from there. And here's the big difference: while Genshin at least visually explains the mechanics (for example, a fire attack on a wet character = a steam reaction, and everything is logical, and it's easy enough to intuitively figure out the cause-and-effect chain just by looking at screen), in Star Rail, almost nothing is understandable without studying a bunch of rules. The battles here are not intuitive at all, and in order to understand who influences what, you really need to sit down and study the mechanics for hours. And that's the main problem: the game is overloaded with text and information, and that kills the fun. You want to relax, but instead you're reading ten-page hints, trying to understand what's going on. And secondly, the storylines: they're all uninteresting. While Genshin was interesting because of its open world, diverse regions with their own architecture and traditions, and interesting characters, here everything is so flat and there is so little variety that you just don't want to read the dialogue. It's impossible to enjoy the game without investing a huge amount of time and patience.

I was waiting for this game for 2 months, and when it released I was shocked how good is this game. The story, gameplay, exploration - everything was good, actually devs that gave us a lot of gems to pull our first 5 star characters, we could actually get Seele as first. But… the biggest issue is endgame. After completing all main and side quests, what did we get? Farming Hall of Memories and spend resin for what? Ngl, in my opinion there are a many better games as hsr. I’ve been disappointed by devs that provides only new banners to people pull, instead of adding more story, side quests and etc. Seemed like hoyoverse is rich company and wants to create not just raw products for sucking players money, but creating interesting story tho. Unfortunately, in my opinion, playing hsr rn is wasting of time, because that motivation to grinding and improving ur account is lost in 2-3 weeks after completing all of quests. Hopefully, this game will revive soon, really hope..

After playing one year in this game I didn’t expect to get that much tied to the game. Game has become part of my routine which I like. This game is free and it’s amazing, I wasn’t putting big hope into the game plot, but it has changed my mind 2.0 Penacony was so good the video cutscenes are just master piece. Also a lot of new features have been added such as game centre that can help with building and creating team I’ve never seen Claude a thing in any other gacha game.The game is just good among all free to play this game is the best option. And the game is keeping getting better new play stile is about to be added and a lot of other thing. I highly recommend everybody to give this game try.
