Weathergraph weather widget
Wind,rain,snow forecast&alert
Free · In-App Purchases
Stunning visual hourly weather forecast for Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Precise precipitation tracking, intuitive forecast chart, and beautiful widgets.
I built Weathergraph to be the weather app I always wanted — clear visual forecasts, professional-grade data, and zero tracking.
Weathergraph is a paid app because forecast APIs aren’t free, and I work daily to keep it the most useful visual weather app out there.
Start with a 7-day free trial. Continue with an annual membership that supports ongoing development and premium weather data — or unlock lifetime Pro with a single one-time purchase.
WHY OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS LOVE WEATHERGRAPH
• Up to 7 days of hour-by-hour data in a single glanceable chart — temperature curves, rain bars, wind, clouds, sunshine ... all in one timeline
• Widgets with real graphs for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac
• Know exactly when rain starts: “Light rain 2:30–3:15 PM,” powered by Rainbow.ai radar + ML. Perfect for runners, cyclists or ski trips.
• Rain alerts up to 60 min ahead. Plan your workout, hike, or fishing trip with confidence.
• Built for kite surfing and sailing enthusiasts: wind speed + gusts, direction, pressure trends, UV peaks, heat index
• Works offline — your forecast stays cached for 24h, and keeps working even in mountains or travels
• Privacy-first design — no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no data sharing
SEE YOUR WEATHER AT A GLANCE
Weathergraph turns raw weather numbers into a visual narrative:
• Temperature as a smooth gradient line — instantly spot the warmest hour for your bike ride
• Rain & snow as blue bars — taller bars = heavier precipitation
• Sunshine breaks shown with actual sun-rays between clouds, highlighting the best time for outdoor activities
• Wind visualization with gusts and direction arrows
• UV index graph — know when to apply sunscreen (hint: above 3)
• Barometer trends to understand pressure-driven changes
• Background color changes with the sky from dawn blue to sunset orange
• Today's highs and lows marked directly in the chart
• Sunrise/sunset times with twilight shading
APPLE WATCH APP DONE RIGHT
• The only weather app with full hourly graphs on your watch face
• Rich complications for every weather metric you care about
• Caches your forecast for 24 hours — even when you’re offline on a mountain ridge
WIDGETS THAT ACTUALLY HELP
• Large widget shows nowcast and hourly charts plus up to week of weather
• Quick-glance widgets: UV index with sun protection reminder, wind speed with direction arrow, dew point and comfort scale, sunrise & sunset time ...
• Lock screen widgets to see the detailed forecast before you unlock
• Stack multiple widgets for your morning weather briefing
TRUSTED DATA SOURCES
Weathergraph pulls from a curated set of professional forecast systems:
• Apple Weather
• Rainbow.ai (world-class radar + ML nowcast)
• Foreca
• Open-Meteo (and its plentahora of national foercast models)
• Pirate Weather (NOAA's HRRR, GFS and GEFS models)
• yr.no
Pilots and surfers check wind graphs before takeoff. Photographers plan golden hour. Skiers know when exactly the blizzard starts.
If you loved Dark Sky or Weather Line, you’ll feel right at home. Cleaner than Wunderground, easier than Windy or Windfinder.

Tighter layout to show as much weather info as possible at first sight. Thanks for challenging me to do this, David!
Bottom toolbar now collapses on scroll, just like Safari’s address bar, to let the forecast shine
Completely rewritten widget charts should finally avoid the issue where the rendered chart images could become too large for the iOS widget system. When that happened, the widget showed "…" instead of the actual forecast. It seems the operating system creators did not expect anyone to pack so many layers of information into a widget at once.
Sadly, this means an end to the "Color on glass" widget toggle, which allowed colorful charts even in "Clear icons" homescreen mode, as this is no longer technically possible. Oh, the tradeoffs.
Previously:
Multiple locations — the most-requested Weathergraph feature — is finally here. Save home, work, your favourite trails, or your next destination. Switch between them instantly with a single tap.
What's new:
- Save multiple locations — home, work, mountains, your next destination
- Switch between them with one tap and get the full detailed forecast chart
- Performance and reliability improvements throughout
And before that:
Weathergraph now uses Rainbow.ai as its default nowcast service, combining real-time radar data with machine-learning precipitation models.
What's new:
- Rainbow.ai nowcast with higher short-term precipitation accuracy and faster update cycles
- Nowcast chart in Home Screen widgets (large + medium) for immediate access to next-hours rain and snow
- Rain alerts switched to the new Rainbow.ai pipeline, providing earlier and more reliable notifications
Now is the perfect moment to head into Settings and enable rain alerts before the autumn showers arrive.
If you know friends or fellow outdoor lovers who would love Weathergraph's visual forecast, I'd be grateful if you could share or tweet a screenshot to let them know.
Thank you! Tomas.

A bug fix release:
Smoother chart scrubbing — Scrollbars no longer disappear or cause layout shifts when dragging on the weather chart
Fixed chart interaction — Resolved issue where scrolling could get stuck after scrubbing the chart
Fixed weather icon colors in iconic theme on white background
Cleaner rain notifications — Removed redundant intensity words when amount is shown (e.g., "9 mm/h rain" instead of "9 mm/h severe rain")
More reliable precipitation alerts

Fixed the problem with the widgets being stuck showing "...". If you still see the stuck widgets on the watch, please try removing the app from the watch, and re-adding it from the Watch app on your iPhone.
Plus a fix of wind chill in the refreshed weather tooltip being wrong if the app is set to Fahrenheit (thanks, Erik!).

I think I finally fixed the widget update problem that left some of you with just "..." displayed in widgets, yay!
If the app previously accidentally depleted its allowed widget update "budget" on your device, it might take several hours until it gets the chance to draw the widgets again (a restart might help in that case).
I apologize for the sun or rain you might have missed!

Rewritten the chart gesture system to be much more reliable, improved memory consumption and rendering speed, fixed crash that could prevent widget updating.
Throttled down widget updates a bit - a widget updating a bit less often is better than the system stopping widget updates completely because the update budget has been overrun.

If you have widgets that were created in older app versions, this update should bring them back to life.

- Performance and reliability improvements throughout
And before that:
