Nevus AI is a melanoma risk assessment tool, not a diagnostic device. It is designed to act as an early warning system, helping adults identify moles that may warrant further medical attention. The app does not provide a medical diagnosis, and its results should never be used as a substitute for professional medical evaluation.
Each mole is analyzed by two independent AI models, each scanning the image five times in different orientations to provide a combined assessment. Results are classified as either Low Risk or High Risk of melanoma, and each includes a confidence score with an associated label (e.g., "Moderately Suspect"). If your result is High Risk, the app will advise whether you should consult a doctor.
Nevus AI is a registered Class I medical device with the MHRA (UK) and operates exclusively within the United Kingdom.
All mole images are securely transmitted and processed in the cloud. Data is encrypted and stored anonymously. You may delete your assessments and account data at any time. This app is intended for adult users only.
