Used to be great; now I’m not sure.Advice to newbies: Don’t try this game unless you are serious and have at least 3 hours a day. I’m with this game since inception, I’m feeling a bit sore about this game. It used to be great, now it’s feeling more like a chore. What didn’t work:1. We invested a lot into building our favourite team, and then devs come up with a new team that’s IMBA, and then all the heart work over the years go down the drain.. 2. The whales continue to dominate, even if you have good teams, it’s hard to progress further to beat the whales cos it’s just.. they have more resources, and then we’re kinda stuck where we are.3. New modes introduced by the Devs just makes things more Grindy to get resources that we may not need, and then every day we inch towards the next milestone.. Gotta do some deep reflections Devs, only a matter of times before people move on to other alternatives (Marvel Future Revolution) that’s more fun.

Been a day 1 player and took the on and off breaks from the game due to crappy glitches not being resolved/poorly planned events & rollouts/the company’s abysmal treatment of the entire player base etc etc. The list goes on and on. One only has to check out Reddit to get the picture. It’s also striking to note that the game’s biggest whale left after the Saudis bought over the game. Most content creators have left due to the toxicity of the game and the turmoil surrounding it.Kicker for me was this. There is a Do Not Sell My Information button which one gets the edit their choice whether or not to allow their info to be used. The scummy part is that Scopely’s default option is to have you Opted In after every update, which is extremely frequent. After the hullabaloo that was made known to all, Scopely decided to remove the button and thereby not giving users the option anymore. This is in direct contravention with the EU’s rules on privacy. I hope the company gets sued for billions and lose their Marvel license.TLDR: install this app at your own risk. Consider yourself warned!
Shady and bad for business

Extremely poor ability to communicate factual information in a timely manner to the player base. Always withholding crucial information that players SHOULD know before pushing hard on you ridiculously priced in-app purchases. In the week leading up to Thanksgiving; event orbs were not available for player to see its contents. Nor how many points/currency would be needed to open an orb when they did become available. The event orb just went live today and literally the best loots in the orb were ALL 0% drop chance as stated in-game. People might have spend a tonne of money for that and only now they inform us the chance of getting those rewards is literally 0. We’ll done, this games deserves to be taken down from the Apple / Googleplay store until the Developer learns to adhere to the T&Cs of these platforms. Fraudulent and Scammy - ruins the very spirit of Thanksgiving. Yuck!I’m going to be demanding refunds for all the purchases made leading up to this event.
Scopely desperately needs to change things

I joined MSF in April 2020 after getting burnt from SWGOH, with their constant cash grabs and F-Us to the community. MSF really brought a lot of enjoyment during a difficult time globally, and was the first game I willingly spent some money on. But I’m feeling the same feeling that I had with SWGOH again, where the community is getting screwed by the executives who couldn’t care less about the fans. While I acknowledge that they’ve done an amazing job with the new characters and iso-8, it’s completely unsustainable for even a moderate spender to keep up with the new releases. How do they expect us to level these new characters up to level 70-80 when there are horrendous bottlenecks for gold, training mats, blue catalysts, purple gear, orange gear and also the train wreck that is red stars? How does it make sense that they release 2-4 characters every few months for a few years but don’t open up avenues to obtain the necessary items to get them up and running? My angst with the gear crunch is only the tip of the iceberg of issues I have with the current state of the game:- RTA is tedious and a waste of time- Newer players are stuck blitzing with veterans- The shady way they do “special” offers that are “80% off”, or the offer orbs that basically tells you to gamble- Them putting new-ish characters in orbs and telling us that’s “farmable”I could go on, but even thinking about this is draining me. I know Scopely is aware of community feedback, and I do hope they care enough to change for the better. I do love this game, but if Scopely continues down this path, it’s abuse that myself and countless players won’t stand for.
Arriving over the course of this release:
• We've improved the accessibility of certain Alliance features. Now players as low as Level 20 may donate to their Alliances, provide Alliance XP via donating, and start working on their Stark Tech!
• New mission objective type: ""Target Enemy Must Survive."" Debuting in ""Eclipse Lost,"" defeating a specified enemy will result in a loss for the mission.
• New Daily Objective ""Claim All"" button — Collect all of your completed Daily Objectives with one tap!
• Battlepass update: There will now be new objective types, including flash, monthly, meta, and seasonal.
• The Battlepass Objectives screen now includes a link to the Battlepass.
Bugs
• Yelena Belova's Special Ability description incorrectly stated she copied Revive Once to all Winter Guard allies. The ability description has been corrected to state she only copies Revive Once to herself. The combat behavior was correct and remains unchanged.
• Yelena Belova's Level 1 Special Ability Description incorrectly stated that she gains Stealth. This has been removed and now matches the combat behavior, which was correct.
• Jeff the Landshark was performing his Ultimate Ability animation on the incorrect (allied) side of the battlefield.
• Red Guardian's ""Upgrade to Level 6"" description failed to mention he always gains an assist from a Yelena Belova ally. The combat behavior was correct and remains unchanged.
• Thor Infinity War was sometimes not appearing on the battlefield for certain devices at 60fps
• Darkstar's Ultimate ability contained a minor typo.
• After losing a battle, tapping the roster button on the defeat screen failed to bring a player to their roster screen.
• Tapping the ""Last Results"" button on the Alliance War screen consecutively caused the Last Results screen to appear incorrectly.
• Knull's Battleworld music was playing during a Sentry fight on Battleworld.
