This is a massive update. It’s still the same app, just… better and even more beautiful than before. ## Liquid Glass This version fully embraces Liquid Glass. We updated the app across the board, including but not limited to: - The library, dashboard, Quick Open, toolbars, buttons, popovers for images, links, annotations, etc. etc. - You can finally resize the dashboard (iPad). - You can finally have sheet list AND dashboard open (iPad). - The editor now has a large bottom inset (aka Overscroll), so the transitions from reading to editing and back are much smoother, especially when using the onscreen keyboard. - You can now create new sheets from the Library (iPhone); these will either end up in your main Inbox or in “Project › Extras › Pending”. - The iPhone on-screen keyboard gained a very prominent close button. - We even updated the app icon to match the new look. ## Swipe Actions We added swipe actions to both the library and the sheet list. - A primary action specific to the current group or filter (such as “Reveal in Group”) - A full contextual menu as secondary action. ## Improved physical keyboard navigation We completely reworked keyboard navigation. This version introduces a couple of changes to the Library: - The iCloud section is now called “Notes”. - The On My Device section is now called “Notes (On My Device)”. - You can now swap the Projects and Notes sections in the library settings. - You can now hide (and show) the Projects Archive via the section menu. - You can now hide the global filter section (this will add an “All” filter in the Notes section). - The Inbox now displays a sheet counter by default (you can disable this). - You can now collapse the library sections by tapping on the section titles. - You can now hide the Trash, as long as it’s empty. - You can now decide whether the contents of your projects should appear in the global filters (All, Last 7 Days). - We have removed the Introduction section from the library; the intro was painfully outdated, and all of its relevant content is now available via our Help Center. ## Incoming Links (aka Backlinks) The Dashboard now shows a list of sheets that link to the current sheet. - You can jump to the corresponding sheet. - You can also jump to the actual link(s) inside that sheet. ## Date Correction The Dashboard can now show the creation and modification dates of the current sheet. - You can adjust the creation date. - You cannot adjust the modification date. ## Critical Fix We have fixed an issue which could lead to an empty library after a system update, or after setting up a new device. We’re aware that this was a shocking experience for those affected, even if nothing was actually lost (the original library was “set aside” for some reason, and a new, empty one, was displayed instead).
