icloud on — notability files disappear

I have my icloud back up on, but it is SO INCONVENIENT at times when I search for my files, especially the new ones, will disappear. Then every so often, a lot of the files disappear and will reappearor just show as loading ( perhaps it’s notability trying to upload the file) but it is VERY annoying deepening when i’m in class and when I need the file outside (without internet) then I can’t access it. What’s the point of having this app when I can’t even access my own files when I need it. If this isn’t fixed soon, I will no longer backup my files via icloud. I subscribed to an icloud plan for notability but I will cancel it because it’s very inconvenient for me now due to this recurring notability problem.Update: Backup still a hassle. I turned icloud backup, now I can’t even delete the notability files on icloud storage because it can’t process 9gb. 🙄 Additinally: Please develop a way for us to easily export multiples files at once in the notability-extension file type to a computer. Not every country is blessed with good internet connection, we prefer saving files locally. We rely on notability, most of our notes, we want to be sure that we somehow have a tangible hold on our valued notes. If you have this feature, you’ll solve a lot of problems the users have on this app regarding backup.

Before i used a lot of note taking apps, and most of the frequent apps i used is goodnotes. This is just my opinion and each of us are different, i kinda don’t like how goodnotes(personal opinion) i use because of their design, their UI is making me demotivated.Notability fix my unmotivated problem, the UI or design of each function of this app is very well thought, i find it a perfect mix of functionality and aesthetic, because other apps are too much aesthetic and others are right function but the way they place the functionality is not right for me.To conclude, this apps is what i need, the design and placement of each functions are well optimized to my used, the aesthetic is not too much or too low, the placement of every-button and function is very to my liking. This is a really good taking notes app, the subscription is worth its price.

This app is not great at all, I have a lot of issues with it, and it is definitely inferior to a lot of (cheaper) notetaking apps. However, I chose to buy it because it had some features I want. Although these features are not dealbreakers by any means, I thought it was a bit worth it especially since it was a one time payment. Now, with the new update (Notability 11.0), I just learned that it’s now a subscription-based app??? I made a deal with you, I pay you this one time price, and I get what I was promised. I even bought some things at the Notability shop. Now you’re telling me that I will lose everything I bought (and you promised) if I do not pay you yearly? The nerve. Anyways, according to Apple’s guidelines 3.1.2(a), “If you are changing your existing app to a subscription-based business model, you should not take away the primary functionality existing users have already paid for.”.I am now reporting you (to Apple and bureau of consumer) for this violation, and basically stealing our money.Lastly, I am now asking for a refund. Give me my money back. I have other apps that are way better and worth the money. You can’t even fix a lot of simple things in your app.
