I love using Microsoft apps ever since, it has always been so helpful and everything you need is just right there. My experience using this Microsoft OneNote has been amazing! Before I started my online class I was worried if I needed notebooks to record all my lessons and that means that I have to spend a lot just for notebooks and leaflets. Luckily I have found Microsoft OneNote and boy it saved my life! Compared to using notebook once you have written it already you can’t erase it and every time I’d waste a lot of pages but with a digital notebook everything is possible there are variety of services provided in this app and I love it!!! With Microsoft OneNote I never worry about my notes as I keep it organize and clean according to my liking... Thank you Microsoft for creating an amazing app like this and that offers free services.
Just alright

I much prefer the OneNote 2016 version and even that version had its shortcomings. I would always dream that this app could be my one go to stop for note taking in college but it has a couple of shortcomings.1. PDF importing takes quite a while and annotating is quite difficult due to the whole giant one page. Like I just wished that importing a pdf would be just as easy as importing the actual pdf rather than an image or having it set as a background.2. The one page is great at times but I wish I could go with regular page sizes like letter, legal, a4. And that you could see all your pages in one continuous scroll, instead of a page in another tab I guess.3. Due to the page sizing troubles, it is hard to print notes or export as PDFs due to the fact that it gets mixed up, cut off, and messed up. 4.I try comparing it to word and there are more options for bullets and other formatting options and I just wish we had more options as well, like in word you may view all pages continuously, unlike in onenote. Some good things are that it is simple to use and direct to the point when it comes to note taking. If compared to notability and GoodNotes, both of those apps are better when it comes to PDFs and lecture slides in importing, annotating, and exporting. I also wish there was a dotted notebook option, a zoom in magnifier option .In conclusion, I would really want onenote to be the only note taking app I could use but there are a few shortcomings on which it may be hard to adjust.
Poor execution
Jomags mmmmm
Very poor in comparison to other note taking apps loke goodnotes. Onenote PC is very good unlike this one. Very slow to load on startup especially when your internet connection is poor (most of the time my connection is poor). I have to turn off wifi off just to have it start so i can take notes. Why is it that your PC version starts up and I can immediately take notes even with this poor connection. Your ipad onenote should just do sync later just like on your pc or just give us the option to do manual sync whenever it is convenient for our connection. I’m discourage with using this for “quick notes” since it’s more quicker to get a pen an a piece of paper. Please give the option of manual sync. One more thing, why is it than when i start writing, then if the connection is poor, the app displays “working offline” banner on top. It automatically displaces the notebook line I’m currently writing so when i am currently writing and that banner appears, my notes is ruined. Not good if i am doing fast notes.
Really Good Notebook App
nprz1
It can sync between iOS and windows, from any device type (tablet, phone, laptop). Perfectly integrates pdfs and excel files. It’s simple and easy to use. I just hope the equation function can be more user friendly but overall very happy with it. I’ve encountered maybe only 2 bugs occurrence in my two years of use, with some of the contents on the pages being scrambled but it is also that I had too much and went wild on the texts and drawings and pictures I had on that page. Ah, it’s also possible to easily export notebooks to pdf for secondary backup just in case. So all good!
This month’s update is bug fixes only.
