To some, LinkedIn is a platform where they can look for jobs or venture opportunities with other industries/companies, but for me, LinkedIn is an avenue where I can express my 'romantic' side. I usually post about quotes which I ponder for quite a while and wish to share their timeless wisdom with other LinkedIn users. I have also developed a penchant in making short videos and post them here too. While I enjoy doing these things, my main goal in joining LinkedIn is being able to learn from the 'giants' in our society especially in the field of Education, Management and Leadership. Not only that, LinkedIn provided me a safer platform where I can react and read far more worthy articles and other reads than those posted in say, Facebook. I am not in the rush to increase my number of followers (most of them were my former students) because I am not a Premium Account User. Idk how to read analytics too and idk if I am reaching people with my posts. I don't know but this is what I like doing and so I want to share it with the world. Thanks LinkedIn. Let's do it one at a time. 💚

When applying to a job posting that redirects to a company website (Taleo, WorkDay, SuccessFactors, etc), it seems to have a consistent issue with attaching a file using the LinkedIn browser. I am using an iPhone XR and usually try to attach a file from either Dropbox or Google Drive. From the LinkedIn browser, it allows me to open Dropbox or Google Drive and view the files too. But when I select one to attach or upload to the company website, nothing happens. It just lets me rename it but it won’t select the file. As a workaround, for any LinkedIn applications that point to a company a website, I instead open it via Safari and then it lets me select the files from either Dropbox or Google Drive.

The job search features are solid, and you can even apply directly through the app. Some people say it's a bit stuffy, but hey, it's not called 'FaceBook'.
