Dayshine makes it easy to plan your routine and build lasting habits.
It's designed around the latest research on habit-building:
- doing habits in a sequence (routines)
- starting with a small goal
- being specific
and other useful, proven concepts.
The process:
1. Schedule the habits you want to build.
2. Complete them on the scheduled days.
3. Track your progress.
4. Start completing habits in a sequence, which we call a routine 'playlist'.
5. (Optional) Track your streak for each habit. See the number go up each time you do it.

With the free plan, you can track up to 5 daily, weekly, or monthly habits. For unlimited habits and more features, you can purchase Dayshine Pro, an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription.

- Fixed a bug that caused the calendar to display the incorrect day of the week in certain regions.
- For regions where Monday is the first day of the week, the calendar view now correctly starts with Monday.

REVISED TIMERS
- Timers now behave more like a time tracker. They count up instead of down, and require your input to move to the next habit.
- If you prefer habits to auto-complete when their duration is up, you can toggle 'Auto-Advance Timers' in settings.

Archive Habits
Instead of habits being deleted, they are now archived by default. This means you can hide a habit so it won't show in your list any more, until you restore it.
You can view, restore or permanently delete your archived habits from the app's Settings page.

This means now you can do both timed and untimed habits in a routine's focus session.
Better time zones support:
This update also improves the accuracy of your completion history when you switch between time zones.

This version brings a handy new feature:
Routine Duration
- Each routine now displays the approximate time it will take to complete all its pending habits.
- This duration is calculated as the sum of the durations of remaining habits in that routine.
- The duration only shows if there are incomplete habits with a set duration. You can edit a habit any time to set or adjust its duration.

This major update brings new features and improvements to help you be more aware of how you’re doing with each habit:
- Streaks - see your streak for each habit, right in the habit list! Streaks start once you complete a habit 3 times in a row. You can hide streaks from the settings page.
- An orange checkbox next to a habit tells you at a glance if you're falling behind.
- Recent Completions - when you tap on a habit, a new section shows whether you completed it the last 3 times it was scheduled. Tapping on the status brings up a longer list.
- Now you can check off a habit right from its reminder notification. Simply long press and tap ‘Mark as done’.
