YuGiOh Duel Links is a 5 star game for multiple reasons, you can play as many characters from the beloved classics of The original generation through till 5DS. It’s also a game where you can achieve a rank in PVP without having to spend too much money too I vouch for this by achieving Platinum in 2 weeks without a single purchase, the animations for certain monsters linked to their respective characters are amazing and also the PVP system and the constant events in which new duellists become obtainable through playing these events are very well thought out and lots of fun to play while also being realistically achievable to obtain exclusive cards and characters through these events, all round the perfect game for those who love Yu-Gi-Oh and great for anyone who wishes to learn and play Yu-Gi-Oh for the first time too •5Stars•

I don’t often get giddy over mobile games, or if I do, it is very short lived, passes on quickly. I downloaded Duel Links on PC through Steam and played it for 9 HOURS STRAIGHT. Don’t let this review fool you though, there are things I didn’t like about the game but I didn’t care because what I loved was the diversity between PvP and AI-controlled Battles. Something that many older games could never benefit from were the PvP battles, and many newer games DIDN’T bother taking advantage of were the more RPG/AI-controlled Battles and varying difficulties for those who aren’t interested in PvP. Duel Links has done a great job on both fronts and continue to improve them. The one thing I was unhappy about when I started getting into unboxing packs, from what I have seen (and this might be player error, not a game mechanic) is that I have many duplicates, upwards of 8-9 of ONE card. I cannot seem to work out if I can get refunded for having more cards than I can even use in one deck or not. Other than that small issue, the game is fun and enjoyable. It can be very testing and tricky at times, trying to navigate SOME of the menu’s to at first, but quickly comes natural. PvP is a little on the slow side at times but if you have just a LITTLE patience it should be very fun regardless. So I gave the game a 4-star rating because of the small things I noticed (or have NOT noticed). I hope some of these small issues can be resolved but overall I’ll continue playing the game and enjoying the diversity of the game!

Such a great game to play. Takes a while at the start as a newbie, but once you find your way of dueling, you will easily run through CPU’s and possibly online players if you’re feeling up to the task. F2P is do-able, although I would suggest to buy a deck if you can. Helps a lot at the start to speed things up.

It’s a awesome game since you can play a lot of different yugioh characters in the series. The battle animations for the legendary monsters are cool but I think it would be best if they added more animations not just the legendary monsters but everything else too. By doing that it will improve the game quality by a lot. (My opinion)
