Julie is back. This time, our AI wallpapers got a full makeover, hehe. It’s now easier to create all kinds of wallpapers, and you can also check out what others have been making. Give a like to wallpapers you enjoy, and download the ones you love. If you see something you like and want to try it yourself, you can even reuse the AI prompts used to create that wallpaper ('ㅂ')b We’re also a little excited to see how many likes and downloads our own wallpapers will get… (¬‿¬) If you were surprised that the horoscope widget disappeared, please hang in there just a bit longer. We’re rebuilding it from scratch, so it’s taking some time. But it’ll be back soon, with even more accurate and almost spooky predictions. We’ve also quickly fixed the bugs you reported. Things like text size issues in the lock screen memo widget, and image quality drops have been improved thanks to your feedback. Now you can use images with transparent backgrounds in PhotoWidget — like cut-out idol photos or cute little objects — and place them on your Home Screen without any widget background color, so everything looks clean and truly transparent. I’ve already made a bunch of cute widgets with this, and I’ll be adding lots of them to the [Discover] tab. We also tweaked a few screens so saving widgets, icons, and wallpapers feels smoother and doesn’t break your flow. PhotoWidget is still doing its best to help you decorate your iPhone and iPad easily, comfortably, and nicely. January in Korea is seriously cold. People say it’s colder than Russia… and honestly, I believe it (›´ω`‹ ) This week’s lowest “feels like” temperature is (yes, really) minus 23°C. It’s so cold it almost makes me want to cry. Even as I’m writing this, my fingers are freezing. Please send help (›´ω`‹ )..!!! If you’re living through winter like me, stay warm and be careful not to catch a cold. And if you’re on the other side of the planet enjoying warm weather, remember to drink lots of water (important) and don’t let the heat wear you out. I’ll be back with the next update. Hi everyone, it’s Julie, back right on update day. And wow… it’s already the start of 2026 (›´ω`‹ ) Even if I don’t love getting older, time doesn’t really wait for us, so I’m trying to take it as it comes. Wishing all our PhotoWidget friends a healthy, happy New Year with lots of good energy. For our first update of 2026, this one’s mostly about bug fixes (;´Д`) We fixed an issue where your widgets weren’t showing up on My Page, and also resolved a problem where the LINE Music app wouldn’t open in Japan. On top of that, we went through a bunch of smaller issues—calendar widget font size not adjusting, wallpaper editing problems, broken zodiac widgets, and more—and cleaned things up so everything works properly again. Lots of digging through code to make things behave. I used to really dislike cold winters. But lately, I’ve been trying to think, “Winter should feel like winter,” and somehow it doesn’t bother me as much. In fact, knowing that the sharp, clear cold air will fade in a month or two almost makes me feel a little… nostalgic already. (Yes, this is probably what getting older feels like—when passing time starts to feel precious.) You might be thinking, “Where did that come from?” (-ω-)ゝ I guess while sharing PhotoWidget updates, I ended up sharing a bit of how I’ve been lately too. Alright, back to work for me (¬‿¬) Please drink plenty of water (this is important), take good care of yourselves this January, and have a healthy start to the year. Take a moment to look back on what kind of year 2025 was, make a list of things you want to finish before the year ends, and turn it into a to-do widget too. Hehe. Hi! Julie’s back again. We packed so much into this update. You’ll notice it right from the first screen — the home colors got a sneaky little glow-up, and all your fave phone-deco items are now split into Recommended and Popular. And yep… that means the old Store menu quietly slipped into hiding, and now you can check everything from Discover in one place. Search also got way stronger, so it should feel a lot smoother now. I also added new fluffy-style wallpapers because I’ve been really into them lately. (Right after cute animal photos, they’re totally my fave.) Hope you guys like them too (´∀`)b Oh, and about transparent widgets… I really tried to make them happen this time but ended up missing it. I think I’ll finally get it to work in the next update. It was so close, but something just didn’t come together at the end. Sad… BUT YES, TRANSPARENT WIDGETS ARE STILL COMING! And if it somehow doesn’t work again… I might owe you an apology for getting excited too early (›´ω`‹ ) Also! Korea had its first big snowfall in the first week of December. Your selected icon style will now stay correctly applied. ◆ iPad Premium Page Fix Resolved an issue where the [X] button on the Premium page did not close properly on iPad. You can now close the page without any issues. ◆ New Tutorials Added We’ve added new tutorials for the most frequently requested features: how to delete icons, set up inline widgets, and apply moving wallpapers.
