The only thing is that the pc app dies nor accept overseas credit card but insisting on taking cash from it to top up cash-in whuch my bank declined. This created another problem when using mobile phone when i used for car transport service since I did not know that the card is working, I paid the driver in cash at the same time the mobile charged my card. I double paid now I have the invonvinience of retrieving the money back from Grab which they have not replied yet.

We have had a pretty good experience with Grab, particularly in Singapore and Georgetown! A few times have order cars which end up being way smaller than expected, meaning we are squeezed in with bags ect. We now have been ordering the larger cars (6seater) and this is better with bags. Today we were without bags and order a standard pick up. The car was a smaller 4 door for 3 adults without bags. When it turned up, she wanted all 3 adults in the back for a 20 mins trip. We are not small and are of average height for westerners (heights changed from 5ft 4 to 5ft 9. It was impossible to fit, we asked her to cancel as she would allow us in the front seat and we felt unsafe not wearing seat belts. We feel this should be stated on the app when you order. The car was also pretty beat up and run down inside. Order larger and pay the little extra! App is great!

There are too many notifications. The map of available drivers is inaccurate. Drivers often don’t bother to drive to your address and expect you to walk down the street to find them when the GPS is terrible. The spot pricing on food is rediculous. Often over 100% and more than price of the food you order. Email support goes straight to spam! Why? Anyway after their last blunder, and my sweary drunken complaint they have decided that there are no drivers available. I’ll probably post the saga with screenshots in social media.Further in Malaysia th comapnay states that they need to collect a selfie on behalf of the government, but there are no government regulations to support this. When questioned they say they are collaborating with the Ministry of Transport but can’t cite any legislation to support such a claim.

I am out of the country and I always use Grab to order food for my loved ones in the Philippines. Most drivers are nice and honest. But this last one was superb! He was able to do the greetings I wanted to send to my loved ones hence gave him a bigger tip than the usual I give the seivers.Hope you’ll have more of him. Thank you.
